This study aims to determine the effects of work ethics and workplace discipline on overall employee performance. The SPSS program is used in this study's application of quantitative technique and data processing. Multiple linear regression was utilized to analyze the data in this study. There were 58 responders in all who worked for PT. Aksata Satya Pratama. The findings indicated that (1) work ethic and work discipline did not significantly affect employee performance, with a significance value of 0.217 greater than 0.05, indicating that H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected; (2) work discipline partially significantly influences employee performance, indicating that H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted; and (3) work ethic and work discipline simultaneously affect employee performance. Technology is essential for social interaction, business, and the economy, as well as for advancing education and meeting the needs of the contemporary information society. Both the quality and quality of instruction are enhanced by the application of technology in the classroom. Technology has a huge influence on higher education's teaching and learning processes since it facilitates both the instructional and learning processes. It makes learning more flexible, individualized, and asynchronous. It also moves the focus of learning from teachers to students, which serves as a catalyst for changes in the classroom, school system, community, and overall framework. It improves student learning, aids in the acquisition of new skills, fosters social mobility, prepares people for global competition, and has a multiplier impact on the entire educational system. The aim of this review research was to define the effects of technology integration on the students’ learning at higher education level. To achieve the intended objectives of the study, a total of 9 previous published studies were searched on the different databases by defining the inclusion-exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria were to select only those articles that were related to the impacts of integration of technology on the learners’ learning at higher education level. The exclusion criteria were to select only those articles that have a relationship between the technology integration and students’ learning at higher education level. Only those were selected that have full text accessed. The results of the study indicated that technology integration has a significant effect on the students’ learning at higher education level. This paper explores the urgency of increasing human resource competence to effectively face the challenges and opportunities that arise as a result of this dual paradigm shift. Globalization 4.0 has ushered in an era of unprecedented connectivity and digitalization, revolutionizing industries globally. The integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things demands a workforce with enhanced digital literacy and high adaptability. As organizations are globally connected, cross-cultural competency becomes increasingly important, emphasizing the need for employees who can adapt to diverse cultural contexts and communicate effectively across cultures. On the other hand, the concept of Society 5.0 describes the harmonious convergence of technology and human society. In this social framework, human resource competencies go beyond technical skills, emphasizing qualities such as resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning. Organizations are encouraged to foster a culture of adaptability where employees embrace change and uncertainty. This paper proposes key strategies for competency enhancement in this evolving landscape. This includes the implementation of customized training programs with a focus on digital skills, the integration of human resources technology for efficient talent management, and the promotion of cross-cultural exchange initiatives. Additionally, emphasis is placed on establishing a culture of continuous learning, encouraging employees to stay abreast of technological developments and industry trends. Currently Tik Tok has 800 million active users, this number has surpassed the active users of WhatsApp and Facebook. Tik Tok Shop is one of the most popular e-commerce in Indonesia because it provides cheap products with the advantage of selling via livestreaming. E-commerce is a commercial activity carried out using electronic media such as television, cell phones, the internet and social media. E-commerce is a business model that operates without requiring physical presence between the seller and the buyer so that it can eliminate variable costs such as promotional costs, transaction costs, operational costs and shipping costs. So far, Gamis apparel products have been marketed in physical stores using a brick-and-mortar business model, such as at the wholesale Tanah Abang Market, Jakarta. Meanwhile, the products are supplied by Gamis fashion confectionery entrepreneurs in Bandung Regency. However, the presence of digital technology, for example Tik Tok Shop, has caused many brick-and-mortar entrepreneurs to experience losses, not sell well and go bankrupt. The research results show that the lack of buyers at the Tanah Abang wholesale market, Jakarta, is not caused by Tik Tok Shop alone. However, the high production costs of ready-made clothing produced by confectionery entrepreneurs in Bandung Regency have made it difficult to compete. The operational cost factor for the wholesale clothing sales business at Tanah Abang Market, Jakarta, also contributed to the loss.
2024-02-07T17:41:37+07:00Copyright (c) 2024 The Third International Conference on Government Education Management and Tourismhttp://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoGEMT-3/article/view/479THE EFFECT OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION ON OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE THROUGH 5S AND CORPORATE CULTURE AT FOOD AND BEVERAGE PRODUCER2024-02-24T15:32:25+07:00Adam Dwi Cahyo123@google.comHamdan Amaruddin123@google.com
This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of Total Quality Management on Operational Performance through 5S variables and Corporate Culture variables in a food and beverage producer. One of them is that spatial prediction of environmental carrying capacity conditions is a complex technical process and requires the help of tools in the form of computer programs. The results indicate that research on problem-solving is distributed across six continents: Europe, Oceania, North America, South America, Asia, and Africa. The United States has the highest number of publications, g-index, and h-index, making it the most productive country. The majority of research focuses on its relevance to teachers and prospective teachers, with 15 published articles. The remaining articles address mathematical problem-solving abilities related to students at different educational levels. There are 5 publications related to the elementary school level, 5 publications for the junior high school level (n = 5 articles), 5 publications for the senior high school level (n = 5 articles), and 9 publications for the higher education level. Additionally, the researcher identifies factors influencing students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. It is found that these abilities are influenced by factors originating from individuals (internal factors) and factors originating from outside individuals (external factors).
