The Effect of Original Local Government Revenue and Economic Growth on the Poverty Level in Jambi Province

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To find out and analyze the effect of Original Local Goverment Revenue on Poverty Level in Jambi Province; 2) To find out and analyze the effect of Economic Growth on poverty level in Jambi Province; 3) To find out and analyze the effect of original local goverment revenue and economic growth simultaneously on the poverty level. Research analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis and compared with result of data panel analysis. Based on the results of partial and simultaneous tests that original local goverment revenue variables and economic growth individually or together have a significant effect on the poverty level in Jambi Province. The result of panel data analysis, found that’s human development index, Jambi economic growth and educational level in Jambi has a significant effect on the poverty in Jambi propince.
