Meanwhile, workers who specifically handle river waste are generally limited and unable to clean it effectively and efficiently. Therefore, there is a need for technology that can automatically collect waste in the river without relying on human labour, equipped with a real-time waste monitoring system. To address this issue, this research was conducted by designing a device with an ultrasonic sensor and an infrared proximity sensor equipped with an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system connected to a Wi-Fi network. This research focuses on the design of a prototype device for collecting bottle waste. The prototype device was designed using propellers as waste carriers, a conveyor as a waste transporter to the collection bin, and the Blynk application as an IoT-based monitoring system. This research is expected to read a distance of approximately 5 cm for bottle waste, allowing bottle waste to be transported and collected in the waste container with 4 seconds for bottle waste so that the transport motor and conveyor operate continuously.
2025-08-18T13:31:29+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 The Fifth International Conference on Innovations Social Sciences Education and Engineeringhttp://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/669PRAXEOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF 8th GRADE MATHEMATICS TEXTBOOK2025-08-18T13:35:09+07:00Rivani Adistia Dewi123@google.comDadang Juandi123@google.com
Based on research, students still have difficulty learning the data centralization material. Many primary schools in remote areas lack adequate facilities, such as proper classrooms, access to technology, and limited numbers and quality of educators. This inequality leads to disparities in the quality of education received by students. Education planning that is not data-driven often results in education policies that are not well-targeted. The study used qualitative research methods. Data were collected through interviews with principals and teachers as well as observations about the planning process and program implementation in primary schools that have implemented the data-based planning model. The data was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach, which shows how the application of the data-based planning model impacts on the decision-making process and learning implementation. The results show that using a data-driven planning model has successfully changed the work culture in the school. The traditional and routine approach has evolved into a more reflective and evidence-based approach. After implementing this model, the school showed increased student accountability, more efficient resource management and success in achieving more measurable educational goals. The model also encourages collaboration among teachers and other stakeholders, who help work together to create programs that impact students. The role of the learning community plays a role in changing the culture of intuition to data-driven education planning. The results show that other schools can adopt this model as part of a more adaptive and data-driven strategy to improve the quality of sustainable education.
2025-08-19T17:07:05+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 The Fifth International Conference on Innovations Social Sciences Education and Engineeringhttp://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/678PROBLEMATICS OF INTERNATIONAL PIONEER CLASS: REALIZING HIGHER EDUCATION AUTONOMY IN INDONESIA2025-08-19T18:05:32+07:00Reffin Laily Nur Widyani123@google.comIntan Elok Okti Wardani123@google.com
This study aims to determine the impact of the problem of the international pilot class on autonomy in higher education. Marjuni (2020), said that giving awards to teachers is very appropriate and beneficial. Because, when teachers are recognized, the results of their hard work will be appreciated and can increase their productivity. This study aims to describe the relevance of giving teacher rewards in relation to the transformational leadership they have. The research method used is qualitative with a case study type in East Jakarta. The data collection techniques used were participant observation, interviews and documentation studies with Myles and Huberman data analysis techniques (data reduction, data verification, data display and conclusion drawing). The results of this study indicate that rewards as remuneration for efforts and work results include various elements. The term 'reward' first reminds us of financial matters, namely 'salary'. However, it should be emphasized that salary is not the only form of reward. In fact, it is sometimes argued that financial payments are not the most effective form of reward. The principal's transformational leadership provides motivation as a form of appreciation for teachers which ultimately increases teacher involvement in the educational process. Rewards offer real recognition to people for their achievements and contributions. Financial rewards consist of job-based pay, which provides a base salary according to the value of the work, and individual-based pay, which provides recognition for a person's contribution, competence, or skills. Awards can also be non-financial, such as recognition. If the award is valuable and achievable, and people know how to achieve it, this award can be a trigger for motivation. A PAUD teacher who has a high commitment will have positive thoughts and behavior, prioritize the interests of the organization, and try as hard as possible so that the organization's goals are achieved and develop for the better. In addition, the characteristics of transformational leadership are very high according to teachers. The level of commitment of teacher organizations is also high. The relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment is at a medium and positive level. The results of this study indicate that the principal's transformational leadership and organizational communication have a joint influence on the variable of teacher organizational commitment by 92.2 % which means very strong. The better the principal's transformational leadership and organizational communication, the better the teacher's organizational commitment.
2025-08-19T18:09:43+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 The Fifth International Conference on Innovations Social Sciences Education and Engineeringhttp://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/680DIGITAL ARCHIVING POLICY IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY IN THE MINISTRY OF PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION2025-08-19T18:41:50+07:00Fadhila Khairunisa Azizah123@google.com
The development of information technology encourages government agencies to carry out digital transformation, including in archival governance. This study addresses the need for a unified framework that incorporates psychological insights into public administration research and its applications. Using a conceptual research approach, the study synthesis systematic literature from political science, behavioral economics, and psychology to provide a disciplined framework for Behavioral Public Administration (BPA). No original data were gathered; instead, the study examines previously published material to identify trends in behavior and gaps in existing administrative studies. Four basic ideas define BPA: (1) its broad applicability across administrative domains; (2) the relevance of methodological rigout through experimental designs; (3) a reciprocal exchange between public administration and psychology; and (4) the practical value of behavioral insights in improving governance outcomes. These ideas form the foundation of a conceptual model that connects psychological theory to policy efficacy and administrative conduct. A promising area that clarifies administrative behavior is behavioral public administration. Future studies will enhance methodological tools, experimentally evaluate the framework, and foster multidisciplinary cooperation between public administration and psychology.
2025-08-21T18:41:41+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 The Fifth International Conference on Innovations Social Sciences Education and Engineeringhttp://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/686TRANSFORMING LEADERSHIP: THE INFLUENCE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ON CONTEMPORARY MANAGEMENT PRACTICES2025-08-21T18:47:29+07:00Annisa Arifka Sari123@google.comRessa Uli Patrissia123@google.comSiti Nurhayani123@google.comRahmawani123@google.com
This study examines the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) and project management technology in redefining modern leadership approaches. The central concern is the growing complexity of leadership in technologically advanced settings where conventional decision-making frameworks are insufficient. The study reveals a gap in the existing body of knowledge on how digital technologies and artificial intelligence jointly impact team collaboration, flexibility, and leadership effectiveness. Organizational case studies, expert interviews, and a thorough literature review were employed in a qualitative research approach. Six companies and fifteen experts who have used digital technologies or artificial intelligence in leadership settings provided data. NVivo software's theme analysis helped to analyze qualitative data. The results show that although project management tools increase team collaboration and workflow efficiency, artificial intelligence significantly enhances strategic decision-making through predictive analytics—nevertheless, obstacles such as ethical questions, digital skill shortages, and opposition to change remain. Companies that support inclusive leadership, ethical AI governance, and digital training courses tend to experience better transitions and a higher technological return on investment. The research concludes that in the digital era, good leadership requires a blend of human-centric ideals and technical competence. It provides a theoretical and pragmatic framework for incorporating artificial intelligence into leadership paradigms, emphasizing ethical responsibility, teamwork, and creativity.
2025-08-21T18:47:28+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 The Fifth International Conference on Innovations Social Sciences Education and Engineeringhttp://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/687A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE APPLICATIONS IN HIGHER EDUCATION: LOCATING THE ROLE OF EDUCATORS2025-09-02T18:04:12+07:00Ismu Iskandar123@google.comYuliana Renyaan123@google.comRessa Uli Patrissia123@google.comRivani Adistia Dewi123@google.com
Although artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly important in higher education, little research has examined these phenomena from an educational perspective. Through a comprehensive evaluation of 146 peer-reviewed empirical studies published between 2007 and 2018, this paper addresses the lack of pedagogical and ethical considerations in current AI-oriented publications. Based on accepted rules for evidence synthesis, the review used a methodical approach, including papers indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and EBSCO Education Source. With only 6.2% of academics having an eye toward education, the statistics show a predominance of papers from Computer Science and STEM fields. Four main areas define artificial intelligence applications in higher education: intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive systems and personalisation, assessment and evaluation, and profiling and prediction. Only a tiny minority of research addressed ethical issues or instructional frameworks; most employed quantitative approaches. This assessment concludes that while artificial intelligence shows potential for improving educational processes, current research lacks significant input from teachers and remains technologically oriented. It advocates for multidisciplinary cooperation and theory-based methods to ensure that AI supports ethical norms and educational objectives.
2025-08-21T18:52:37+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 The Fifth International Conference on Innovations Social Sciences Education and Engineeringhttp://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/688COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF NOZZLE BLADE PRESSURE IMPACT ON PELTON TURBINE BUCKETS2025-08-21T19:38:13+07:00Fikra Maulana123@google.comDesmarita Leni123@google.comMuchlisinalahuddin123@google.com
The Pelton turbine is a hydroelectric power generation technology whose performance is greatly influenced by the nozzle design, particularly the angle of the water spray to the blades. With a quantitative approach, this study uses secondary data from 155 countries covering 775 observations throughout 2020–2024, and is analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of accrual accounting contributes positively and significantly to the achievement of the SDGs. In contrast, the effectiveness of corruption control based on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) does not show a significant relationship to the achievement of development targets. This finding indicates that the implementation of accrual accounting can improve fiscal transparency and government accountability, which play a role in supporting sustainable development goals. On the other hand, the CPI is considered less able to accurately reflect differences in development levels between countries. The implications of these results underline the importance of strengthening institutional capacity and accrual-based fiscal reporting systems as the foundation of sustainable development policies. Meanwhile, efforts to control corruption should be based on more factual and multidimensional data. The limitations of this study include the use of secondary data that is cross-sectional for five years and the limited variables used, as well as the subjectivity of the CPI. Using a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis and purposive sampling, the study analyzes 90 observations from 18 manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019–2023. The results reveal that family ownership has a significant negative impact on tax aggressiveness, indicating that family-controlled firms are less likely to engage in tax avoidance. In contrast, institutional ownership shows no significant effect. These findings highlight the importance of ownership structure in shaping tax policy decisions and emphasize the need for corporate stakeholders to comply with tax regulations to avoid aggressive tax practices. However, the study is limited to the manufacturing sector, and the results may not apply to other industries with different characteristics and tax strategies.
2025-08-22T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) http://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/728THE INFLUENCE OF MARKET VALUE AND LEVERAGE ON STOCK PRICES OF MANUFACTURING COMPANIES LISTED ON THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE (IDX) IN 2019-20232025-08-24T20:15:28+07:00Maulidin T. In 2023, it increased by 6.29% compared to the previous year. The transportation sector accounted for 37% of total energy consumption in 2023, which is considered very high. Therefore, it is essential to improve energy efficiency in this sector. One effective way to achieve this is by using vehicle designs that are more energy-efficient, particularly those with aerodynamic shapes. Vehicles with lower drag force can reduce fuel consumption significantly. Several studies have proposed the integration of external aerodynamic devices—such as vortex generators, rear spoilers, rear fairings, and fenders—aimed at actively manipulating airflow around the vehicle to reduce aerodynamic resistance The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of spoilers on the aerodynamic performance of a car. The research employs a numerical method using ANSYS Fluent software to analyze the resulting drag force, pressure contours, velocity contours, and flow patterns around the vehicle. Kambo123@google.com
This study analyzes the 2024 local election (Pilkada) in Maros Regency, which featured only a single candidate pair, as a critical case reflecting the crisis of local democracy in Indonesia. Utilizing a transcendental phenomenological approach and thematic analysis of qualitative data, this research explores the formation of electoral hegemony, manifestations of voter resistance, and the crisis of representation in a non-competitive political setting. The total consolidation of political parties in support of the incumbent, absence of leadership regeneration, and high rates of blank votes and abstention reflect a weakening of pluralism and a substantive democratic deficit. Findings reveal that voters are not apathetic, but instead engage in symbolic political expression by supporting the blank column and forming independent volunteer movements. The blank column functions as a channel of resistance against a system lacking representative options, while grassroots movements embody alternative forms of civic engagement in constrained democratic spaces. This study evaluates minimalist, maximalist, classical, and institutional theories of democracy to understand the tension between procedural legality and substantive legitimacy. While the election complied with legal frameworks, the absence of competition and declining participation undermines political representation and electoral credibility. The key implication of this study is the urgent need for systemic reform of local political institutions, including nomination rules, party internal democratization, and civic education focused on empowerment. The Maros case illustrates not only a stagnation of local democracy but also the transformative potential of civil resistance. Institutional reform and the revitalization of representative channels are essential to restore democratic integrity and legitimacy at the subnational level in Indonesia.
2025-09-01T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) http://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/776UNPACKING THE NEXUS BETWEEN AGILE LEADERSHIP, CROWD LOGISTICS, AND LAST-MILE DELIVERY EFFICIENCY: INSIGHTS FROM PT POS INDONESIA2025-09-04T20:32:19+07:00Tata Sugiarta123@google.comManiah123@google.comSaptono Kusdanu Waskito123@google.com
The logistics industry is undergoing substantial changes due to the growth of e-commerce and digital transformation, which demands increased last-mile delivery (LMD) efficiency. This study also analyses the influence of structural transformation on the risk of poverty and extreme poverty. It evaluates the extent to which government social protection programs can encourage structural transformation while reducing poverty. The novelty of the research lies in the use of a simultaneous approach of two micro-outcomes, the transformation of the employment sector and the risk of extreme poverty, to test whether social assistance only acts as a consumption protection or can also be a catalyst for more inclusive, productive, and sustainable village development. The analysis was carried out by multinomial logistic regression using SUSENAS 2022 data, with an analysis unit of 352,646 individuals on the island of Java. Dependent variables include structural transformation and extreme poverty levels, while independent variables include conditions of meeting basic needs and government programs. The results of the study show that individual structural transformations on the island of Java still face complex dynamics; Significant internet use is driving a shift to the non-agricultural sector, while savings, education, telephone, and cooperative credit tend to retain individuals in the agricultural sector. Structural transformation has not been significant enough to reduce the risk of extreme poverty. However, it can reduce the probability of individuals being in the poor category, thus requiring a risk mitigation strategy that is integrated with strengthening the productive economy. Therefore, social protection programs need to be designed more progressively, focusing on improving digital skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and graduation mechanisms in order to function as a catalyst for individual economic mobility towards a more productive and sustainable sector.
2025-09-01T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) http://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/780ISLAMIC-BASED CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT WITH THE NATIONAL CURRICULUM ANNAWAWI MODULAR CURRICULUM (AMC) AT IMAM NAWAWI SCHOOL CIOMAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL2025-09-04T20:45:36+07:00Daryatmo Rahman123@google.comSuryadi123@google.comSupadi123@google.comWinda Dewi Listyawati123@google.com
Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools aims to produce people who always strive to perfect their faith, piety, and morals, and actively build Islamic civilization. A quantitative approach with a causal associative design was employed, involving a sample of 65 employees. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 software. The analysis included assessments of loading factors, average variance extracted (AVE), discriminant validity (using the Fornell- Larcker criterion), Cronbach’s alpha, composite reliability, model fit, coefficient of determination (R²), hypothesis testing, and effect size (f²). The findings reveal that operational performance is more strongly and directly influenced by halal certification and quality culture than through the indirect path mediated by the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. These results suggest that while the ISO system contributes positively, the direct effects of organizational culture and certification practices play a more substantial role. Based on these insights, it is recommended that the company reinforce its quality management system and cultivate a sustainable quality culture. These delays subsequently affected the timeliness of Return to Service (RTS) for aircraft undergoing C-Check maintenance, resulting in a high number of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) cases. This research aims to analyze the effect of digital transformation integration, represented by three main variables: Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based forecasting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) flexibility, and Big Data, on inventory management optimization in the Indonesian aircraft MRO industry. A quantitative method was employed, with the analysis conducted using SmartPLS software. The study involved 120 respondents from the management level of aircraft MRO companies in Indonesia. The findings reveal that among the three digital transformation variables tested, only ERP flexibility has a significant impact on inventory management optimization. Specifically, the ERP feature that allows for user customization—which emerged as the strongest indicator within the ERP flexibility variable—has a substantial influence on inventory management optimization. Meanwhile, AI-based forecasting and Big Data did not demonstrate significant effects. These findings indicate that implementing digital transformation through ERP flexibility can enhance inventory management optimization, thereby enabling aircraft to return to service on time due to the availability of spare parts. This research is expected to serve as a practical reference for managers in the MRO industry in designing digital transformation strategies to achieve more effective inventory management.
2025-09-01T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) http://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoISSEE-5/article/view/792COMPUTATIONAL THINKING IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF TRENDS AND INNOVATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA2025-09-09T22:12:46+07:00Raden Arsyilia Putri Makin Nabila123@google.comRizky Rosjanuardi123@google.com
This systematic literature review aims to explore the trends and innovations in the integration of computational thinking within mathematics education in the digital era. In response to global educational shifts toward interdisciplinary learning and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), this research addresses the limited application of SDG-aligned content in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction for non-English majors in higher education. The study involved 180 students from 17 faculties enrolled in the General English 3 Course (XH025). Data collection included a structured questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with seven students. Lessons focused on key SDGs relevant to the Mekong Delta region: Quality Education (SDG 4), Gender Equality (SDG 5), Clean Water and Energy (SDGs 6 & 7), Innovation (SDG 9), Climate Action (SDG 13), and Governance (SDG 16). Findings reveal that SDG-integrated lessons improved student motivation, vocabulary, speaking fluency, and sustainability understanding. Despite challenges with technical language and interdisciplinary tasks, students gained critical thinking skills and real-world problem awareness. The study also aligns with the ECOViP project (Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Ecotourism), which supports graduates in applying language and sustainability knowledge to tourism startup initiatives, enhancing Vietnam’s green economic development.
2025-09-01T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c)
