However, there are hardly any research that focuses on consumers in this age range; researchers still prioritize the market of young adult as they are considered as the most active and engaged internet users. Based on this explanation, this research was conducted to examine and understand the driving factors that affect the intention of middle-aged consumers to shop online and to bridge the gap between researches available and the market’s interest in middle-aged people as online consumers. This research integrates the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as a drive factor by comparing young to middle-aged consumers and gender moderation. Through the use of Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling, the findings show that the main factor that drives middle-aged people’s intention in shopping online is Social Influence while among young adults, the drive is coming from Performance Expectation. The findings also show that gender difference does not affect the driving factors in the two groups.</em></p> Femmy, Yudin Wahyudin, Dudi Awalludin, Darya Copyright (c) 2020 Prosiding ICSMR https://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICSMR/article/view/7 Sat, 01 Aug 2020 00:00:00 +0700 Effect of Liquidity, Leverage, and Profitability on Consumption Company Hedging on Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012-2018 https://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICSMR/article/view/3 <p>The regulation on currency hedging is applied to help investor protect their investment in the stock market against the possible decline of the rupiah. This revolution is linked with several aspectsof popular technological development such as internet of things, artificial intelligence, human–machine interface, robotic technology as well as 3D printing. However, themost important factor beyond technology is a paradigm change. This aspect is missingin current issue. A new form of governing is required for the government’ readinessto enter into a new industrial revolution. Thus, change is required and itscharacterized by a paradigm shift from government to governance, from single actorsto multiple actors. The question is what form of governance, why and how it works? To fill in the gaps, policy networks is essential for building a new form of governancein the industrial revolution era. It is because in the reform era, there is no single anddominant actor who independently manage policy process. In fact, with very limitedresources, actors and institutions are interdependent.
