IMPROVING WRITING SKILLS THROUGH DIGITAL STORYTELLING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Abstract

Digital storytelling can improve students' writing skills in elementary school. The difficulty of students in pouring their ideas into writing even though they have understood the structure of their writing is a challenge that must be conquered by students. The method used in this study is a systematic literature review that shows that the use of digital storytelling is able to improve students' writing skills, especially in elementary school. Several articles show that there is an improvement in students' writing skills by utilizing digital storytelling media. However, it is also said that there are always challenges that must be faced, such as the right learning approach and the development of digital storytelling media that must always be appropriate to support the Indonesian learning process, especially those that aim to improve students' writing skills.
