The understanding of students with hearing impairment about the concept of space is very important to be developed, therefore a learning approach is needed so that students with hearing impairment can recognize simple plan figures. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of a realistic mathematical approach in improving the ability to recognize simple plane figures for second grade students with hearing impairment at SLBN Cicendo Bandung. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The research design used is one group pretest-posttest, which is an experiment that is carried out in one group only without a comparison group or a single group design, by providing a preliminary test and a final test to the research sample. The data is collected through written and action-direct tests. Based on the results of research and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that a realistic mathematical approach can improve the ability of students with hearing impairment to recognize plane figures. This can be seen from the hypothesis testing which shows that a realistic approach provides an increasement in the ability to recognize plan figures. The results of the research can be used as a reference for teachers in teaching and learning activities to apply this realistic mathematics approach to other learning topics and materials. The potential for copies in the garden is very important information because it becomes a reference for calculating harvesting costs and the income that can be obtained from the garden. To make it easier and closer to the truth, the estimation of the potential for JUN copies is if the local volume table is known, so that regardless of the diameter growth it will be easy to calculate the volume of stands. The JUN-copies local volume equation is calculated using the Berkhout equation regression analysis (Loetsh, Zohrer and Haller, 1973). This equation is used to estimate the volume of JUN impulses by collecting stand diameter data. As a sample, 100 stands were taken (Loetsh, 1973) by systematically random start. The result obtained is the potential for JUN copies when calculated using the formula V = LBDS x t x f (Anonymous, 1997) obtained 93.350737860884 m3 while using the Volume Table obtained 92.4784902 m3. From the r test, the result is 0.952, which means that the relationship is close, or not significantly different. Some of these customs and cultures position women as the second class who view women as incapable of playing a role in the public sphere. This condition makes the position of women in the household economy only as income earners. Cooperatives are community-based economic organizations formed and driven by a group of people for business purposes with family, voluntary, and open principles. Therefore, poverty alleviation efforts and improving the welfare of rural communities have become development priorities in this area. In poor households, improving welfare is basically inseparable from how the family implements coping strategies to get out of a vulnerable condition by using various available resources. Based on this, this study aims to analyze the economic coping strategies of poor households in rural Jambi Province. Furthermore, specifically, the researcher will conduct a comparative study on food crop farming households with plantation crops. The two commodities were chosen because they were the main source of livelihood for the population in rural Jambi Province. The data used were sourced from surveys in four rural areas. The sample of this research is two districts in Jambi Province, namely Merangin Regency and Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical difference tests. The results showed that the economic coping strategy of poor rural households was still low, both in the context of passive strategies (cutting-back expenses) and active strategies (income generating strategy). This certainly has an impact on the resilience of poor households when facing economic pressures. However, the emergence of tourism villages was not always carried out sustainably. Many tourist villages that emerged developed then experienced setbacks and stopped activities. The decline is caused by various reasons, both external and internal factors. Changes in market behavior that are fast and dynamic make the services offered unattractively. Internally, leadership ability is an important variable in stakeholder collaboration in managing a tourist village. Management of a tourism village that involves multiple parties (<em>multiple stakeholders</em>) requires the ability to interact with many parties who have different desires or interests. By examining three tourist villages in Gunungkidul, the researcher tried to identify what kind of leadership model is suitable in collaboration in managing tourism villages. This research is qualitative so that the depth of data can be obtained. Data collection is done by interviewing the researcher as the research instrument. The village elite's leadership, which is dominated by seniors, turns out to be less effective in managing collaboration. Parents can observe the children's environment and direct them to positive things and minimize negative impacts such as sexual violence. Therefore parents can provide protection for children both in real and digital environments in the future.&nbsp; This research is an experimental study that aims to determine how effective digital parenting is in increasing parental literacy as an effort to protect against the dangers of sexual violence in children through online media. The research design used was a one group pre test-post test design, which consisted of 18 test items measured using a pre-test that was carried out before being treated and a post-test that was carried out after given the treatment. The treatment was given in the form of a digital parenting workshop as an effort to prevent sexual violence against children. The research sample was carried out by purposive random sampling, on parents who have children between 4 years and 13 years of age in the six sub-districts of Bangkalan Madura Regency, East Java. The results of the analysis of the Pre-Post Comparison Test using the t test, showed that the average score after receiving treatment was 10.52, while the average score before receiving treatment was 8.58. It is concluded that there are significant differences in results after receiving treatment. Based on the results of the calculation of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, the Z value obtained is -4,985, the p value (Asymp.Sig 2 tailed) is 0,000 which is less than the critical research limit of 0.05 so the hypothesis decision is to accept Ha and reject Ho meaning that digital parenting as Literacy means to protect sexual violence against children are proven to be effective for parents who have children aged 4 to 13 years.</p> Hera Wahyuni Siti Fadjryana Fitroh Medika Risnasari Copyright (c) 2021 Hera Wahyuni 2021-01-30 2021-01-30 1 1 436 443 Strengthening the Tourism Promotion Strategy in Priority Destinations for Lake Toba https://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoGEMT/article/view/197 <p style="text-align: justify;">Tourism sector has a positive impact on the economy, environment, and socio-culture both locally and nationally. Since the Covid-19 outbreak throughout the world, tourism has also been affected. Based on this, reforms and even improvements in the quality of tourism are needed, one of which is an increase in English skills in Mentawai Islands. The purpose of this research is to study the English needs of the people in the Mentawai Islands and to develop the island of England as education in increasing the global tourism sector in the Mentawai Islands. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documents required in this study. The results show that the English language skills of the people in the Mentawai Islands are still very low so it is difficult to communicate with foreign tourists, this will impact the local economy and also tourism promotion in the Mentawai Island. In addition, English language training in realizing "English Island" is very necessary for the people of the Mentawai Islands. Examples of interactional metadiscourse markers are hedges, boosters, attitude markers, engagement markers and self-mentions. Hyland’s (2005) interpersonal metadiscourse model was adapted to analyse 12 political science articles from three refereed journals. The analysis indicates the writers’ common tendencies to feature boosters and hedges as their top two functional categories. The boosters commonly used to emphasize the writers’ claims are “only”, “will”, “even” and “significant”. The hedges commonly used to withhold the writers’ commitment are “would”, “could”, “may” and “likely”. Attitude markers, engagement markers and self-mentions were present in the corpus as well with varying level of distribution. The high-frequency attitude markers are “important”, “simply”, “unfortunately” and “difficult” whereas the high-frequency engagement markers are in the form of questions, “we”, “should” and “see”. In contrast, self-mentions are infrequent in some of the political science journal articles due to the impersonal style of research writing where the researcher identity is not highlighted. However, it had considerable presence in the other half of the articles with markers such as “we”, “our”, “I” and “my”. The findings suggest that while the writers viewed hedges and boosters as equally important for their proposition, not all of them are comfortable with highlighting their presence using self-mentions.</p> Noor Afifah Binti Nawawi Su-Hie Ting Copyright (c) 2021 Noor Afifah NAWAWI 2021-01-30 2021-01-30 1 1 581 590 Human Resource Development Of Tourism Driving Group (Indonesian: KOMPEPAR) In Supporting Tourist Visits In Ciater Area Subang (Case Study: Kompepar Motekar Jaya Ciater Subang) https://conference.loupiasconference.org/index.php/ICoGEMT/article/view/152 <p style="text-align: justify;">In the midst of the challenges of the Covid-19 Pandemic which are burdensome for the community's economy, then in developing the Tourism Driving Group (Indonesian: KOMPEPAR) Cisaat Ciater Village, Subang Regency really needs to be based on human resources who are able to think and be creative and innovative.
