Abstract

This study focuses on the correlation between the influence of discipline and employeeperformance. Mosttheoristsbelievethatdisciplineispositivelycorrelatedwith employeeperformance. However,asurveyof30studieswithatotalsamplesizeof69,379 showedawidevariationinthecorrelationcoefficient,from0.198to0.976.Thisstudyapplies ameta-analysis ofthe30studiestofindthetruecorrelationofdisciplinewithemployee performance.Samplingerrorcorrectionproceduresandmeasurement errorcorrectionhave beencarriedout,withanaverageof1.01,whichissignificantlypositiveataconfidence intervalof 98.61%.Furtheranalysisfoundindicationsthatothervariablesinfluencethe strengthofthecorrelation,leadingtoopportunities toconductfurtherspecificmeta-analysis studies
