Abstract

Thisstudy focusesonthe correlationbetween professionalismandservice quality.Mosttheoristsbelievethat professionalismispositivelycorrelatedwithservicequality.However, surveysof10studieswithatotalsample size of41.43showedawide variationinthecorrelationcoefficient,from0.452to0.809.Thisstudy appliesameta-analysisofthe10studiestofindthetruecorrelation ofprofessionalismandservicequality.Proceduresforsamplingerror correctionandmeasurementerrorcorrectionhave beenperformed, withanaverageof0.61,whichissignificantly positiveat88.33% confidenceintervals.Further analysisfoundindicationsthatother variables influence thestrengthofthe correlation,leadingto opportunities to conduct further specific meta-analysis studies.
